We love when OG WAGs bring their A game to the red carpet even after their fellas careers have ended (see, also Veronique Zidane and Helen Svedin).
Cheryl Vieira, wife of former Arsenal and France superstar Patrick, attended the Laureus World Sports Awards in London with her husband last night. Mrs. V wore a gorgeous yellow Grecian-style gown from Lanvin’s 2012 Resort collection.
The color is perfecto for her skin tone and we love that she added her own twist with the belt. Pay attention, current WAGs because this is you in ten to fifteen years. And you best be looking this good.
Do you love this dress as much as we do?

You all had some very strong opinions on Sylvie’s last look. To sum up, you thought she looked like a wax work member of the Jersey Shore cast. Way harsh, Kickettes.
We loves us some Abbey Crouch (née Clancy) at Kickette HQ. She’s a bit of role model, you see. A woman who can have a night on the tiles that looks like this in photographs and still show her face on National television is one we strive to be.
The new Mrs. Peter Crouch (Abbey will be changing her surname) did her weekly spot on ITV’s This Morning yesterday and did so in grand fashion. We’re loving her charming and sophisticated shift dress*, but the real lust item here are the SHOOZ.
Abbey’s python print Lanvin wedges are pretty major. Styling them with this dress is a bit odd, but she pulls it off. We’re glad Abbey chose to remove the ankle ribbons because they would have clashed horridly with the belt.
Do you like Abbey’s styling here? Or do you think shoes like that deserve a blank canvass in the form of an LBD or other single-colored dress? We’d love to see them with something like this Rebecca Taylor denim dress. Talk to us, girls.
*We searched high and low for this dress, but no luck. If you know who designed it, do share!
A fab Kickette soldier girl has informed us that Abbey’s dress is from Mango and it’s on sale! It’s thrifty and we like it.
