We’re just going to assume that you’re as perplexed by this White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner as we are. So perhaps it’s no surprise that Irina Shayk was there since even Lindsay Lohan was invited.
For just such an occasion, Shayk chose a white silk Yves Saint Laurent jumpsuit with a gold chain belt from the Fall 2011 collection. We think this is a pretty fab look and we love that she didn’t wear a traditional gown and kept the accessories minimal.
What’s up with Ms. Shayk and Mr. Ronaldo, though? Lunch time conversation at Kickette HQ is often speculative of the status of their relationship. Do you think these two are still an item? We know Shayk’s been busy with her Intimissimi Perfect Bra tour and may not have a lot of time to spend in Madrid, but long distance love can only go so far. We’ll dig a little deeper this week.
In the meantime, how do you feel about Shayk’s White House look?

Now this is exactly what we expect La Shayk to look like.
Irina was on hand at “The Late Show With David Letterman” in NYC last night to pass the SI Swimsuit Issue cover girl crown to Kate Upton. For just such an occasion Cristiano’s lady chose a lovely mustard yellow Roland Mouret dress with fun architectural details.
She covered up in a black fur coat, dressed her ears in her favorite green jeweled earrings and wore the same Christian Louboutin No. 299 heels she wore the her Elie Saab gown back in November. Needless to say, the Loubs are much better suited to this ensemble.
On paper mustard yellow, emerald green, and dark purple sound like they do together about as well as Ryan Giggs and chest waxing, but this works for us. What do you think?

We’ve discussed jumpsuits ad nauseum (see here, here and definitely here) so we’ll keep this rather short and sweet.
Irina Shayk attended the premiere of W./E. in New York last night and decided to go slightly off the rails with her garment selection. Perhaps we’ve been sniffing Sharpie pens for too long, but is she pulling this off?
How many times have you seen a jumpsuit like this and thought, “Psssh only a model would look good in that.” Well, there you go. We like it. It’s a lot classier than some of the stuff she wore last year.
New year, new fashion leaf, new stylist. Keep on keepin’ on, Shayk.

We know we’re really trying you all with two Shayk posts in a row, but we’re just here for the fashion and she is here, there, and everywhere lately so we will discuss.
The better half of Cristiano Ronaldo attended the Macy’s Ideology Press Launch in NYC last night. For such an occasion she chose a Carven bustier dress with strategic cut outs on the sides. We think she could have gotten a lot funkier with the styling since this dress is a blank canvas, but we really don’t feel like complaining today.
If you have a sponge for a fashion memory, then you will recall that Beyonce wore this dress back in October. A style-off with Queen B should make even the savviest of fashion stars quiver with fear, but this dress suits Shayk’s bun-less oven just a tad better. Agree?
Also, are you familiar with Carven? It’s going to be the new Isabel Marant. Trust us.

Two of our favorite ladies grace the pages of Elle magazine this winter. You may have passed by Irina Shayk’s December 2011 Elle España cover while visiting your local news stand to read tabloids without paying for them. Or maybe that was just us.
While Shayk is wearing nothing but some glued on crystals that resemble Red Hots candies and jewelry on the cover, the accompanying editorial boasts the gorgeous look above. The red gown comes courtesy of Elie Saab’s Resort 2012 collection and is topped off with an Escada Sport coat and Jimmy Choo sandals.
You’ll remember her triumph with this Elie Saab offering. Granted that an Elie Saab gown could make a one-legged alien look good, but girlfriend knows how to wear a gown. Click here (and scroll down) to see the rest of the images from Irina’s editorial.
Up next, Victoria Beckham does self-promotion.

Put your biases aside for the amount of time it takes to read this, Kickettes. Easier said than done, we know.
Hands down, this is the best Irina Shayk has ever looked on a carpet of any color. Are we right or are we right? Irina was honored at the Marie Claire Prix a la Moda awards at the French Embassy in Madrid last night. The award was not for “Best Achievement in an Elie Saab Gown” but it could have been.
Cristiano’s lady wore a stunning sparkler from Elie Saab’s Fall 2011 collection to collect her award. We are slightly dismayed by the clunky Christian Louboutin No. 299 heels and think a more delicate heel would have been more appropriate, but they certainly don’t ruin the look. She betrayed her love of green jewels and went for diamond earrings and a blue jeweled cocktail ring. Irina is not the first WAG to show some love to Mr. Saab. Sylvie van der Vaart is a devotee to his designs as well.
Remember when Shayk was wearing things like this to red carpet events? We certainly hope that is a thing of the past! What do you think of this look?

Don’t say we’re not observant, Kickettes.
Here is Irina Shayk at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Sunday. Cristiano’s current lady love (Not fiancée. That ring looks like it came from Accessorize.) wore a custom-made dress from Italian denim designer Replay to the event.
The savvy among you will notice that Replay sponsored the event and also dressed Irina’s super hot partner in fashion crime Bar Rafaeli. The dress isn’t awful, but we’re giving it a pass because she was contractually obligated to wear it. What we’d like to discuss here is Shayk’s reliance on green accessories.
Trivial? Likely. Fascinating to us? Oh yes.

The last time we discussed Irina Shayk, we discussed her bum and you lot were none too happy about it.
We’re happy to report that she chose to cover up her controversial rear for the 2011 Doe Fund gala in NYC last night and she did so in grand fashion. Cristiano’s main squeeze wore a dress from Roberto Cavalli’s 2011 Pre-Fall collection.
She’s looks pretty amaze, yes? It’s styled lovely, she’s not orange, her boobs are under control, and her hair and make-up is spot on. It’s really all we ask for from a WAG at a formal do.
Are you happy with this, Kickettes?
