It was going to take one heck of a fashion act of contrition for us to forgive Ms. Sandford for using her Birkin as an umbrella, but we think she’s done it.
While in L.A. with her bandmates last week Frankie hit all the Spring trend nails on the head. We are all about neon for Spring and this in-your-face Elizabeth and James blazer is the way to do it. She was also brave enough to tackle one of Spring’s most daring trends – the bra top.
Our abs need a
little lot more work before we can pull off a bra top, but luckily our feet are always good to go so we’ll just claim Frankie’s Christian Louboutin Melides wegdes for our own.
Now back to the neon. We’ve scoured the interwebs to bring you our favorite neon accessories.
What does one wear to celebrate one’s father-in-law being acquitted of tax evasion? Why, a Burberry Prorsum Coat and Celine Croc Luggage Tote of course.
And that’s exactly what Louise Redknapp did. She and her family celebrated at London’s Zuma restaurant last night and Mrs. R brought out some big guns. That coat is gorgeous and we can’t really discuss how amazing Celine bags are without breaking into hives so we’ll leave it at that. (Above images via Style.com and Vogue.com)
Let’s talk about winter coats for a mo.

As a trend, colorblocking is kind of always in. Its popularity just waxes and wanes. Luckily we’re in a waxing phase now and colorblocking is bang on trend, as the kids say.
Nagore’s lovely little confection of a Gucci dress* is a perfect example of how to colorblock correctly. The key is to pick no more than three colors of the same hue family (brights, pastels, etc.) and layer them up. Simple, right? Let’s build some colorblock looks.
It was love at first sight for us with Frankie Sandford. We can count the number of times we’ve been offended by something she’s worn on one finger; a huge feat for a WAG. Her fling with Man City’s Wayne Bridge appears to have legs and for that we thank San Iker because it means we get to look at her more.
Christine Bleakley attended the National Movie Awards in London last night wearing a hot Spring 2011 Dolce & Gabbana dress. She’s really starting to grow on us, Kickettes. We could complain about her boring Louboutin heels and about how there are a thousand better footwear choices out there, but we don’t want to ruin our moment.
Frank Lampard’s lady’s near-flawless execution of this look makes us think of one of our favorite Spring/Summer trends: white lace. Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring collection was almost exclusively filled with white, lacy concoctions and Spring collections from Erdem, Valentino and Christopher Kane solidified lace at the top of the trend table.
The little white dress (LWD) is definitely the new little black dress (LBD) and we can’t think of a fresher look for a hot summer night spent on a patio sippin’ sangria (just don’t spill!). Click through for our steals and splurges.
We’ve taken some shots at Alex Gerrard in the past, but when she gets it right we recognize.
This outfit is all kinds of right. Spring style is all about 1970′s influence and styling and Alex has it perfect here. Her sweet Topshop blouse and sky high Miu Miu wedges are a perfect compliment to one of Spring’s must haves: the flare leg jean.
After years of skinny jeans and jeggings our legs will finally have a chance to breathe, Kickettes! This is definitely a style anyone (yes, even us shorties) can pull off. Like Alex’s jeans, they should be tight on the thighs and start to flare at the knees. If your jeans are too baggy around the thighs, you run the risk of drowning in them. Pair them with a sky-high pair of wedges and a cute boho top and you are bang on trend.

We almost single-handedly have Mr. Christopher Bailey at Burberry to thank for the shearling and military-style boot trend that is happening in a major way this winter. The Burberry girls stomped their way down the Fall/Winter 2010 runway in sky-high platforms with buckles galore and the rest is history.
As they do with most trends, WAGs have embraced this one with open arms. Coleen Rooney and Victoria Beckham both have the Burberry Prorsum bad boys at left. Luckily, this is a look that can be done without making your wallet run away and hide from you.
Investing in good quality boots is always a good idea, but when they’re super trendy like these are it’s best not to break the bank. Unless the bank you’re breaking is Steven Gerrard’s. Alex’s KG by Kurt Geiger Wentworth boots set her back a cool £190 ($295, €224).
