Get The Look: Frankie Sandford’s Fab Neon

It was going to take one heck of a fashion act of contrition for us to forgive Ms. Sandford for using her Birkin as an umbrella, but we think she’s done it.

While in L.A. with her bandmates last week Frankie hit all the Spring trend nails on the head. We are all about neon for Spring and this in-your-face Elizabeth and James blazer is the way to do it. She was also brave enough to tackle one of Spring’s most daring trends – the bra top.

Our abs need a little lot more work before we can pull off a bra top, but luckily our feet are always good to go so we’ll just claim Frankie’s Christian Louboutin Melides wegdes for our own.

Now back to the neon. We’ve scoured the interwebs to bring you our favorite neon accessories.

Frankie Sandford: Spotted In Étoile Isabel Marant

Isabel Marant and her diffusion line Ètoile Isabel Marant will easily be the MVP of WAG fashion (and likely fashion fashion) this fall. We dutifully told you all about the designer and we’re loving seeing our Nostradamus-like prediction on the bronzed bods of WAGs like Wayne Bridge’s better half, Frankie Sandford.

Frankie wore this adorable Étoile Isabel Marant jacket while at the studio with her group The Saturdays last weekend. Her Louboutin booties are also giving us heart palpitations.

Frankie wasn’t the only WAG to be spotted in Étoile Isabel Marant this weekend. Coleen Rooney wore the line’s leopard print blouse to Old Trafford on Sunday.

Take our advice, Kickettes – invest in some Marant. Or at least some reasonable knock-offs. We’ll be keeping all eyes on her Spring 2012 show in Paris in just a few weeks and vow to bring you a full and completely biased report.

Get The Look: Frankie Sandford’s Summer Chic

It was love at first sight for us with Frankie Sandford. We can count the number of times we’ve been offended by something she’s worn on one finger; a huge feat for a WAG. Her fling with Man City’s Wayne Bridge appears to have legs and for that we thank San Iker because it means we get to look at her more.

Frankie Sandford: Spotted In Lanvin

Frankie Sandford jetted into LA with her Saturdays bandmates this week. She did the first thing all logical people would do upon landing for a holiday: went shopping. Frankie hit Victoria’s Secret hard (who wouldn’t?) while wearing a pair of gorgeous braided Lanvin wedges, cute floral shorts and denim jacket. A perfect Spring shopping outfit. Carry on, Frankie. Frankie Sandford: Spotted In Topshop

Our girl crush on Frankie is bordering on obsession.  There is an unconfirmed rumor that several Kickette staffers have been seen at the local wig shop trying on an asymmetrical cropped do much like Ms. S’s. Wayne Bridge’s other half wore an adorable leopard print minidress from Topshop to one of her bandmates’ birthday celebration last Friday night. She continued her run of wearing killer heels with this hot pair of black Louboutin Futura boots and further stole our hearts with her fun orange clutch. It also looks as though Frankie has accomplished something on our beauty buckets lists: find the perfect nude lip gloss. Le sigh.

Christian Louboutin Daffodil: Yay Or Nay?

The gorgeous and amazingly coiffed Frankie Sandford (with a camera shy Wayne Bridge) leaves London’s Wellington Club last Saturday night sporting the Loubs of the moment. We hope Bridgey brought a step ladder.

We are often emotionally, physically, and financially moved by shoes here at Kickette HQ. Most of the time, we shed tears as we decide between spending our precious dough on exclusive shots of short tents or the new YSLs that caused a puddle of drool to form on our desks. Short tents always win.

The Christian Louboutin Daffodil heels stormed onto the fashion scene a few weeks ago and Victoria Beckham, Claudine Keane, and Frankie have all been spotted in them thus far. You know that Alex Gerrard and Coleen Rooney already have theirs on reserve at Cricket so as not to feel left out. (Image via

These beauties boast a 6.5 inch heel with a 2.5 in concealed platform. That is Peter Crouch-sized enormous. Hence, we have to ask: how high is too high? We can’t help but think that these are just a little too much. Heels and platforms of this height are usually reserved for drag queens, cartoons and/or ladies of ill fame.

So, Kickettes, tell us what you think: does the superior craftsmanship and investment status that accompany a Louboutin shoe trump this comical heel height? Or are these completely ridiculous and simply playing on reputation? That red sole does crazy things to a girl’s head, ya heard?
