Pastasauce and her new friends (no, we’re not talking about the totally random group of randoms standing behind that step-and-repeat) accompanied boyfriend Iker Casillas to the 40 Principales Awards in Madrid last week.
The ever-beautiful Sara brought her ‘A’ game by wearing a bandage dress from the Hervé Léger by Max Azria Resort 2011 collection, which she paired with a black clutch and heels.
Seeing a celeb or WAG go wrong in a bandage dress doesn’t happen often, and luckily Sara keeps her end of the bargain. We will take a slight issue however, with her accessories. There’s nothing wrong with wearing a black dress, but with so many options for colorful, fun accessories we ask the question: why so… triple z? (Image via Style.com)
Click through to see what we have in mind to spice up Pasta’s look. No, we’re not talking about a nice arrabbiata sauce.
While it’s always the easiest option, a black dress does not always need black accessories. Black goes with everything, hence why it’s worn so often. Black and bright green is always a good combination, which is why we think these Fendi platforms would look the business with Sara’s dress. Paired with this By Malene Birger clutch, and Sara’s on her way to the better dressed list and we have awoken from a fashion nap. (Image via Netaporter.com)
Pink is one of our other favorite colors to pair with black and luckily pink is in for Spring in a major way. A simple envelope clutch is a must-have and this one from Topshop (in Kickette pink, natch) won’t make your bank account weep either. What will make your bank account weep are these Alexandre Birman python sandals. In our fantasy world these would be ours to share at Kickette HQ, with their use dependent on who can do the most hair pulling and bribery. That’s how we roll. (Image via Topshop.com)
What do you think Kickettes? Would some color improve Sara’s outfit? What’s your favorite colorful accessory to wear with black?
