Louise Redknapp: Necessary Restyle

Louise Redknapp attended the launch of Nintendo 3DS in London last night. We think that has something to do with video games, but clearly we’re just concerned with the clothes here.

There’s nothing particularly offensive about La Redknapp’s duds here. We’re just bored to death by them. We can’t remember the last time we were wowed by Louise’s red carpet selections. Her reliance on Stella McCartney (whom she wore again last night) has been noted. We loved the colorful Erdem mini she wore to the Pride of Britain Awards back in November, but since then it’s been all snoozeville.

Louise is in desperate need of some color and we think this Marc Jacobs dress would suit her perfectly. Louise’s style is relatively conservative so she would be a fan of the longer sleeves and higher neckline. (Image via Netaporter.com)

It’s also high time she switched out her trusty YSL Tribtoo heels for something a little more fun. These gold metallic leather Tory Burch sandals keep with the ’70s vibe of the dress and she can keep her lippy in this funky little Jimmy Choo clutch.

Now isn’t that an improvement? What do you think of Louise’s style? Tried and true or in need of a refreshment?

I love her jacket but that’s it. Black and white is a very classic combo but not this way. I’d definitely love to see her breaking the night with colours – also cause Stella Mccartney has offered a great variety of shades for both spring/summer and fall/winter, so why not?

Thanks for your advice on this blog. Just one thing I would choose to say is the fact that purchasing electronic products items in the Internet is not something new. In truth, in the past 10 years alone, the market for online electronics has grown considerably. Today, you could find practically just about any electronic system and tools on the Internet, from cameras plus camcorders to computer spare parts and video gaming consoles to an memory card picture.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

  56. I have been in pain with OA in my knees for over 1.5yrs. I went through all of the usual treatments (therapy, cortisone, Euflexxa, etc) and misdiagnose. (bursitis, tendonitis, etc). Two months ago I saw the Surgeon. After looking at my xrays and MRI he decided to do the scope. He told me my Ins Co. insists on him at least trying the Cortisone again before he can scope my knee. I had already had it done, with limited success, but since it was my only alternative, I went through the pain of having a 3″ needle shoved under my knee again. Last month, after the cortisone didn’t work, he scoped it. He found lots of torn cartilage and fissures (sp?). He actually was surprised when I came out of surgery and he showed me the pictures. I was like duh!

  59. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

Could this all be caused by the back injury – I know you are not Doctors but your thoughts mean a lot to me?

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

  154. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

  155. Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

  157. For the women who are averse to wearing roman sandals because they find them a little masculine for their taste, or simply because they are scared the shoe type will make them look short, a good alternative is to purchase strapped thong sandals.

  158. It’s laborious to search out educated folks on this matter, but you sound like you realize what you’re talking about! Thanks
