Irina Shayk: Time To Class It Up

We were quite pleased with Irina Shayk’s recent forays into high fashion editorials. We thought, perhaps, they may inspire her to take a turn towards a more classy, elegant style. We weren’t correct.
On the left is Shayk at The Cinema Society With Ivanka Trump Jewelry & Diane von Furstenburg Host A Screening of “Snow Flower And The Secret Fan” event. Sounds classy, right? Unfortunately, Irina chose to wear a sweater dress that had clearly been attacked by moths. There’s no other explanation as to why there are gaping holes where there shouldn’t be holes, right?
Seeing as how the event was hosted by Diane von Furstenberg, why not wear one of her dresses? She is, arguably, one of the greatest designers of all-time. This DVF silk tank dress still has the sex appeal that Irina loves, but is miles classier and more appropriate for the event.
We do like the Louboutin heels she’s got on, but with a dress like that who’s going to notice them? These showstoppers from Roberto Cavalli would amp up the hotness without removing parts of the dress.
Irina attended the premiere of “Friends With Benefits” in NYC Monday night (photo above right) wearing a black slip dress that threatens to expose her lady parts to the universe with one false move. While this dress is not quite as [insert unflattering adjective here] as the knit spider web, she could still be mistaken for a working girl.
We’ve expressed our bordem over the LBD, but we’ll cut her some slack here and suggest this sweet little halter neck dress from Halston Heritage. Sexy? Check. Bits covered and probably not in danger of being exposed? Check. We’ll even let her keep her accessories since we have no major issues with them.
In short, we know Irina has an amazing bod. But we’re sick of seeing it. When that amazing bod can wear absolutely any designer garment on the market and make it look perfect, why waste it? Do it for us, Irina.
What do you think? Should Irina keep on truckin’ with the less is more theory or move into the designer clothing fast lane?
