Get The Look: Louise Redknapp’s Chic Winter Coat
And that’s exactly what Louise Redknapp did. She and her family celebrated at London’s Zuma restaurant last night and Mrs. R brought out some big guns. That coat is gorgeous and we can’t really discuss how amazing Celine bags are without breaking into hives so we’ll leave it at that. (Above images via Style.com and Vogue.com)
Let’s talk about winter coats for a mo.
Even though we’re on the back end of winter, it’s still darn cold in our neck of the woods. In our opinions, having a stylish, well-made coat will go a long way towards making you look and feel as warm as possible. A chic coat is something you want to invest in, but not something you want to go into debt over.
This is actually a good time to buy a new coat because they’re on sale and we like to save every available penny for booze and chocolate. We love the buckles on Louise’s coat so here are some affordable look-a-likes.
Even more wallet friendly is this offering from Dorothy Perkins (right). £30 will get you a faux fur lined hood and pockets big enough for a flask. It’s all in the details.
If you want to go a touch further with the faux fur, try this coat from Kenneth Cole New York (left). Your sleeve hems can double as dusters so this is a win/win at $130.
If you want to be really daring and warm, then how about wrapping yourself in the next best thing to a blanket? This blanket wool coat from Sanctuary looks as snuggly as a $130 teddy bear.
Like our choices? What’s your favorite winter coat like? If you live in a warm climate, then just don’t talk to us until June.
