We accepted long ago that Louise Redknapp’s go-to designer is Stella McCartney and that’s great. Stella makes fabulous clothes. Other designers make fabulous clothes too, but we get that she’s in a groove. We don’t, however, get what she was thinking when she put on this dress.

The dress is from Stella’s Fall 2012 collection and while it’s certainly not the worst dress ever in life, it’s so, so wrong for Louise and her body type. Louis is a petite, curvy woman and this drowns her and makes her look incredibly top heavy. Also, the styling? Girl, no. Those ankle boots make her look about 4’11″ tall and while black and blue is a big trend for fall, it doesn’t make sense here. A silver metallic heel, much like these amaze Nicholas Kirkwood platform slingbacks, would have worked so much better.

Furthermore, could there have been a better occasion for her lovely hair to have been in a top knot or bun to show off her face and the high neckline of the dress? No. See? It could have been salvageable. Maybe. Call us before your next appearance, Louise.

The nuptials of a fellow WAG is always a perfect opportunity for her compatriots to bring their fashion A game. There were two clear stand outs for us at the Iniesta/Ortiz wedding last weekend so let’s get to judging.

Lionel Messi’s girlfriend Antonella Roccuzzo looked perfectly summery in her Roberto Cavalli halter maxi dress. Her silver platform heels and clutch are a perfect compliment to Leo’s grey suit.

The loose-fitting dress could suggest that she’s hiding a preggo belly, but she would surely be showing a bump by now yes? We’re still in a Monday morning haze, but we just don’t see it. Also, she is clearly without massive scary preggo boobs so we’re still not believing this one.

Right so she is pregs. Erm, good job hiding it?

Competing admirably in this style off is Pedro’s lovely lady, Carolina Martin.

Ms. Martin’s structured Mary Katrantzou mini dress is perfecto and made sure she stood out in a sea of satin and thigh-high splits.

We love that she chose a colorful bag in the form of a yellow Stella McCartney clutch. The accessory on her other arm ain’t half bad either.

We’re giving this one to Carolina, but fair play Antonella. Who takes your style off cake?

Compared to their English counterparts, the Irish WAGs tend to keep a low profile. With Euro 2012 being The Green Army’s first international tournament in ten years, we’re happy they’re well represented. We’re also happy they’re posting photos of their outfits on Twitter.

Above is the lovely Jane Given, wife of goalkeeper Shay. For Ireland’s first match against Croatia Mrs. G. wore Isabel Marant’s Waris jacket with a simple white T, jeans, and a WAG’s best friend – the Hermes Birkin bag.

Much like how Winonah de Jong wears her Dutch orange in stylish ways, we love how Jane subtly incorporates green into her match going look and adorably matches it to her kiddos’ jerseys.

Claudine Keane is, of course, in Poland supporting her hubby Robbie and judging by her twitter, she’s having a grand time.

Not unlike Jane, Claudine is smitten with Parisian designer Isabel Marant and chose her Weez jacket with jeans and a T for a day out in Sopot, Poland yesterday.

For Ireland’s first match she was adorably patriotic in a little tri-color logo tank and a green blazer and jeans from Zara (not pictured).

Our fashion-related obsession with Winonah de Jong continues to grow now that her blog for Life After Football is up and running.  Full disclosure: we’re not really bothering to run it through Google translate because we really just want to see what she’s wearing.

Winonah has proven a master at incorporating orange (the color of The Netherlands’ NT, natch) into her Euro 2012 looks. For the Oranje’s first match against Denmark, she wore an orange printed Gucci top similar to the one here, Victoria Beckham jeans, Gucci flip flops and the obligatory orange Hermés Birkin and Goyard bags.

It’s a perfect WAG look, is it not?

We also love the subtle orange in her Giambattista Valli jacket here. The jacket is… interesting, but we commend her dedication to keeping it patriotic.

The Dutch got off to a tough start, but we do hope their situ improves. We need more Winonah.

We’re just going to assume that you’re as perplexed by this White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner as we are. So perhaps it’s no surprise that Irina Shayk was there since even Lindsay Lohan was invited.

For just such an occasion, Shayk chose a white silk Yves Saint Laurent jumpsuit with a gold chain belt from the Fall 2011 collection. We think this is a pretty fab look and we love that she didn’t wear a traditional gown and kept the accessories minimal.

What’s up with Ms. Shayk and Mr. Ronaldo, though? Lunch time conversation at Kickette HQ is often speculative of the status of their relationship. Do you think these two are still an item? We know Shayk’s been busy with her Intimissimi Perfect Bra tour and may not have a lot of time to spend in Madrid, but long distance love can only go so far. We’ll dig a little deeper this week.

Bouchra van Persie must have had an inkling that her man would be taking home the bacon from the PFA Player of The Year Awards last night because she spared no expense with her look.

Mrs. VP wore a full-length Spring 2012 Stella McCartney dress and carried a gorgeous yellow Bottega Veneta knot clutch.

Now, we know every version of this dress as been around the block and then some, but somehow it feels fresh on her. Maybe it’s the classic pairing of blue and yellow that’s making it stand out for us.

Even if you don’t like her choice of ensemble, you can’t hate on her hair. We’re booking a Keratin treatment, like, yesterday. What do you think of Bouchra’s look?

It was going to take one heck of a fashion act of contrition for us to forgive Ms. Sandford for using her Birkin as an umbrella, but we think she’s done it.

While in L.A. with her bandmates last week Frankie hit all the Spring trend nails on the head. We are all about neon for Spring and this in-your-face Elizabeth and James blazer is the way to do it. She was also brave enough to tackle one of Spring’s most daring trends – the bra top.

Our abs need a little lot more work before we can pull off a bra top, but luckily our feet are always good to go so we’ll just claim Frankie’s Christian Louboutin Melides wegdes for our own.

Now back to the neon. We’ve scoured the interwebs to bring you our favorite neon accessories.

If neon scares you a little, then we say just incorporate it in your accessories.

These adorable flats from ASOS manage to kill two trend birds with one stylish stone with their polka dots and neon trim.

For you nights out Betsey Johnson’s got you covered. These stacked, peep toe heels come in four neon options and would look perfect with an LBD and equally as perfect with a bolder color blocked outfit.

If shoes aren’t your thing (you crazy), then how about a neon bag? We adore this option from River Island (via ASOS) because it’s neutral enough to go with everything, but still has the fun neon trim.

For something more obvious, go for this hot pink laser cut clutch (also River Island via ASOS).

If you’re ready to take a full neon plugne then we say the brighter the better. American high street chain Forever 21 is a great place to buy the top trends and be kind to your savings account at the same time. This oversized neon t-shirt comes in three colors and will pair fantastically with just about any bottom option.

There is a plethora of neon denim options out there, but we’re going with old faithful – Topshop. There is a rainbow of colors to choose from and we all know that Topshop jeans last forever so these are a great bet.

Abbey Crouch did her best fembot impersonation on the Brit Awards red carpet last night.

She donned an adorable 1960s vintage pink tweed dress via William Vintage and a simple pair of Christian Louboutin Pigalle heels. Even though she’s still showing more leg than a bucket of chicken, we think this is a big departure from her usual style.

Her hair and make-up were smartly kept in a 1960s style with a heavy-lidded eye, light pink lips and loose curls.

There’s no Herve Leger in sight and for that we’re thankful. What do you think of this look on Abbey?

Even we’re getting annoyed at our praise for Victoria Beckham, but the woman can just do no wrong lately. Victoria presented her other eponymous collection at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday and the reviews are just as rave as they are for her mainline collection. The Victoria line is full of dresses that every girl will want to wear. Which is exactly why Net-a-Porter is already on its second order having only stocked the dresses since Wednesday and Harvey Nichols has a waiting list a mile long.

For her Fall Victoria collection, VB introduced some new shapes and colors that can work for a variety of women.

We love the way she presented her sweet collared shift dresses with french cuffs on the sleeve. That broken down argyle pattern is something special too, yes?

We also love to see that Victoria has embraced a looser midi length skirt, the popularity of which seems to be going nowhere. Burgundy and deep wine colors emerged as a big trend for Fall so obviously Mrs. B is bang on there.

As she is with the teeny bit of color blocking with those red cuffs and collar.

The big talk of her inaugural Spring collection was her use of conversational prints, namely cats, moons, and clouds, but they are absent here and the real standouts are the pieces in muted metallic stripes.

We’re dying especially hard over that A-line dress.

Another fabulous collection from Victoria Beckham. This is getting redundant, Kickettes. But we can’t deny how great these dresses are. We’d still like to see her price point (which is between $500-$900) come down a little, but we suspect it will in good time. Designer collaborations with American department stores like Target and Macy’s are huge right now, so it may not be too long before we see Victoria Beckham for Target. Girls can dream, right?

Now this is exactly what we expect La Shayk to look like.

Irina was on hand at “The Late Show With David Letterman” in NYC last night to pass the SI Swimsuit Issue cover girl crown to Kate Upton. For just such an occasion Cristiano’s lady chose a lovely mustard yellow Roland Mouret dress with fun architectural details.

She covered up in a black fur coat, dressed her ears in her favorite green jeweled earrings and wore the same Christian Louboutin No. 299 heels she wore the her Elie Saab gown back in November. Needless to say, the Loubs are much better suited to this ensemble.

On paper mustard yellow, emerald green, and dark purple sound like they do together about as well as Ryan Giggs and chest waxing, but this works for us. What do you think?
